Setting Up a Labor Rate Table

A labor rate table holds the hourly cost of each crew classification you bid with. Every condition in a job points at one of these rates, so changing a rate once updates every estimate that uses it.

Before You Start

Have your burdened labor cost by classification ready, including fringe, insurance, and any shift differential you carry.

Steps

  1. Open the job database and select Labor Rates.
  2. Add a row for each classification and enter the burdened hourly rate.
  3. Assign a crew mix if the work is bid by crew rather than by individual.
  4. Save the table to your master database so new jobs start from it.
Notes

Rates saved to the master database do not change jobs that are already open. Update those jobs individually or re-import the table.
