Maxwell Roofing and Sheet Metal is a 60-year family business and market leader in commercial roofing across the Mid-South. President John Maxwell has been in the industry long enough to have tried every alternative — and dismissed them all. Before finding The EDGE in the late 1980s, he was piecing together bids with shareware tools that couldn’t keep up with his standards for accuracy and detail.
Maxwell was deliberate about the decision: he called four Estimating Edge references and asked each one the same question — “Would you buy it again?” Every one said yes without hesitation. More than 25 years later, Maxwell credits The EDGE’s built-in processes for letting his team win jobs on complex geometry that competitors can’t even bid. “Without the digitizing features, there is no way to accurately conduct a takeoff in a timely manner,” he said. In 25 years, no support issue has gone unresolved for more than a few hours.
